Auteuil Racecourse old building

Auteuil Hippodrome / Paris / France


The Steeple-Chases association decided to create a hippodrome dedicated to Steeplechase. Auteuil, near the Bois de Boulogne, is choosen and an hippodrome is built there by the Prince de Sagan. It will be launched in 1873, with its 2 400 m track and its 13 obstacles !
